NIGERIA LOSES COACH

COACH DANLANDI IS DEAD  Niger Tornadoes have announced the death of their former coach who was the Assistant Coach of the Super Falcons at USA 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Danladi Abubakar Nasidi . In a press release by the club to announced the death of the veteran coach  “The death has occurred of Veteran Coach Danladi Abubakar Nasidi (Alala) he died in the early hours of Wednesday 12th August 2020 after a brief illness.” The release read  Coach Danladi Nasidi (CAF A Licence Holder) was Assistant Coach of Super Falcons of Nigeria to Women World Cup USA ’99. He was Coach Stationery Stores of Lagos and rescued the Team from Relegation in 1994. He was the head coach of Gabon National Team in 1986, he managed Niger Tornadoes on several occasions.
