 Lagos APC Debunks Claims of Chairman's Harassment During Secretariat Protest By DD Media Insight  The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports suggesting that its chairman was assaulted or harassed during Tuesday's protest at the party's state secretariat, describing the claims as false and misleading. In a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Lagos APC Chairman, Ayaba Akingbehin, the party clarified that the chairman was not present at the secretariat when the protest took place and, therefore, could not have been involved in any altercation as alleged in a viral social media video. The party acknowledged the constitutional right of citizens and members to peacefully express their grievances but emphasized that such actions must be conducted within the confines of the law and with due regard for public order and party discipline.   APC Members Stage Protest at Lagos Secretariat, Demand Justice Over Primaries By Babajide Razak  Look Thousands of members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) converged on the party's state secretariat along Acme Road, Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, to demand justice, fairness and equity in the aftermath of the party's recently concluded primary elections. The protesters, who came from different local government areas across the state, gathered under the watchful presence of officers of the Nigeria Police Force deployed to maintain law and order around the party headquarters.
