 89 Years of Legacy: Renewed Hope Ambassadors Join Family and Friends to Celebrate Alhaji M.A. Taiwo in Kuto, Ogun State

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, joined family members, friends, political associates, community leaders and well-wishers to celebrate the 89th birthday anniversary of Alhaji M.A. Taiwo at his Kuto residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

The celebration was marked by prayers, tributes and glowing commendations of the octogenarian’s decades of service, leadership and contributions to the development of his community and the advancement of the people.

Islamic clerics at the ceremony offered special prayers for the celebrant, seeking Allah’s continued protection, good health, wisdom and many more years of fulfilment. They also eulogised his enduring contributions to his community and his positive impact on the lives of those around him.


The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, described Alhaji M.A. Taiwo as a distinguished leader whose life has been defined by wisdom, honour, integrity and commitment to truth and leadership quality

Obasa commended the celebrant’s leadership qualities and prayed that Allah would continue to grant him good health and longevity to enjoy the fruits of his labour and witness many more years of celebration.

The Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Oshodi-Isolo LG, Kayode Tinubu, Esq., described the celebrant as a leader of high repute whose contributions to the growth of democracy and the progressive political movement in Lagos State and Nigeria remain significant.

According to him, Alhaji M.A. Taiwo represents a generation of leaders whose experience, commitment and dedication have contributed immensely to the development of progressive politics.

Kayode Tinubu prayed that Allah would continue to preserve the octogenarian, strengthen him with sound health and grant him many more years of fruitful service and celebration.







The Kuto community in Abeokuta came alive as traditional rulers, Islamic clerics, politicians, technocrats, community leaders, family members and friends gathered from Oshodi-Isolo Local Government and across Lagos State to honour the revered leader.

Among the distinguished guests at the celebration were Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa; Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Hon. Adebayo Olasoju; Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo; Hon. Oladipo Olayinka Ajomale, representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly; Hon. Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe, representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I; Alhaji Kehinde Olorunoje, Mandate Coordinator, Oshodi-Isolo LG; former Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Hon. Shamsudeen Abiodun Olaleye; members of the Ejigbo LCDA legislative and executive cabinet; Isolo LCDA legislators; and Dr. Ojitiku, Deputy Director, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Oshodi-Isolo LG.

The gathering provided an opportunity for political associates, community stakeholders and loved ones to celebrate not only the celebrant’s 89 years of life, but also his enduring legacy of leadership, service, wisdom and commitment to humanity.

As tributes poured in, the atmosphere reflected a celebration of a life that has touched generations and contributed to the social and political development of his community and beyond.
