 Renewed Hope Ambassadors Inaugurate Lagos Secretariat, Swear in Directors Ahead of 2027 General Elections

The Lagos State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors has officially commissioned its state secretariat in GRA, Ikeja, marking a significant milestone in the group's mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.





The event, held on Saturday, July 12, was attended by the Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Kayode Tinubu, Esq., alongside party leaders, government officials, traditional rulers, and stakeholders from across Lagos State.

The ceremony also featured the inauguration of the organisation's Directors, Deputy Directors, and Secretaries, who were formally entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening grassroots mobilisation in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the emergence of Dr. Femi Kadir Hamzat as Governor of Lagos State, and the victory of all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 general elections.



Delivering his welcome address, the Lagos State leader of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, reaffirmed the vision and objectives of the organisation, describing it as a strategic platform committed to consolidating the achievements of President Tinubu's administration and securing overwhelming electoral support across Lagos State.

He urged the newly inaugurated directors, deputy directors, and secretaries to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, competence, teamwork, and integrity. According to him, their primary assignment is to effectively communicate the policies, programmes, and achievements of the Tinubu administration to every community across the state while also providing a credible feedback mechanism through which the aspirations and concerns of the people can be conveyed to government for responsive policymaking.

Mr. Ayinde expressed confidence in the capacity of the newly inaugurated officials to deliver on the organisation's mandate, noting that their commitment would play a vital role in strengthening public engagement and sustaining the Renewed Hope agenda.

He also commended the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agencies for their efforts in rescuing students abducted by bandits, while applauding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians.

The colourful ceremony attracted a large gathering of political leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, APC stalwarts, and members of the public from across Lagos State.










The Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty Oba Rilwan Akiolu, was represented by the Obanikoro of Lagos, Chief Adesoji Ajayi Bembe. Other dignitaries in attendance included former and serving members of the National and Lagos State Houses of Assembly, members of the Lagos State Executive Council, traditional rulers, White Cap Chiefs, members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), the Secretary of GAC, Alhaji Mutiu Are, Abayomi Finnih, Alhaji M. A. Taiwo, Chairman of Conference 57, Hon. Sesan Olowa, Local Government and LCDA Chairmen, Renewed Hope Ambassadors Local Government and Ward Coordinators, APC leaders, the Director-General of Grassroots Movement for Tinubu 2027, Hon. Bisi Yusuf, as well as religious leaders and other prominent stakeholders.



The event climaxed with the official commissioning of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Lagos State Secretariat, located at Oduduwa Crescent, GRA, Ikeja, by the assembled dignitaries, symbolising the commencement of a renewed grassroots mobilisation drive towards the 2027 general elections.
