LASPA REACTS TO VIRAL VIDEO OF A CLAMPED VEHICLE BY THE AGENCY, LIST PARKING VIOLATIONS AND OFFENCES IN LAGOS STATE By Dada Babajide Razak     The Lagos state parking agency has given reasons why its officials clamped the car of a lady at the car park of a pharmacy along Allen Avenue, Ikeja on Friday, September, 8. In the statement released, the General Manager of the agency, Adebisi Adelabu, said the pharmacy where the lady parked her car, has refused to pay their annual Corporate Parking/Set Back Levy, hence the reason the woman's car was clamped. ‘’The attention of the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has been drawn to a viral video circulated by Health Plus Pharmacy, located in Allen, Ikeja.  *Lagos issues Flood Alert To Residents Of Lekki-Ajah, Meiran, Ajegunle, Others* The Lagos State Government on Sunday issued a fresh flood alert, prompting some residents of the state to prepare for flooding in the month of September. This followed the release of an updated 2023 Water Releases Forecast for Flood Control by the Ogun-Osun River Basin Authority. In a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources, Lekan Shodeinde, the affected catchment areas include Alagbole, Meiran, Maidan, Kara, Isheri-Olowora, Agiliti, Owode-Onirin, Owode-Elede, Agboyi I, Agboyi II, Ajegunle, Itowolo, Majidun, Ibeshe, Baiyeku and Lekki-Ajah axis. Shodeinde said the utmost concern of the state government is safety of lives and properties of residents, urging residents and property owners in the listed areas to be ready to move upland when the water level rises showing signs of flooding just as it is advisable to all residents across the state.
