NRC and LAMATA Team Up to Boost Nigeria's Rail Network By Dada Babajide Razak   The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) and Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) are joining forces to strengthen Nigeria's rail system. The two agencies met on 5th March to discuss ways to work together more effectively, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope 8-Point Agenda. The meeting, led by NRC Managing Director Dr. Kayode Opeifa and LAMATA Managing Director Mrs. Abimbola Akinajo, focused on improving operations, enhancing crisis management, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of railway services.  Dr. Opeifa highlighted the importance of an integrated railway system for Nigeria, emphasizing its role in reducing costs, boosting trade, and driving economic growth.
