*EDO ELECTION RESULT SHOULD UNDERGO THE TEST OF ELECTORAL LAW*  23rd Sept.2020  _Adewale Ajibola reports_  In any sporting activities or competition  participants are subjected to rules and regulations which gives each and everyone a satisfied mind after each tournament when champions have emerged.  In reference to the above in Edo state election there is no doubt that the election has been concluded and Governor Obaseki of pdp has been declared as the winner having won majority of the votes but did the candidates and parties in the election played to Nigeria  electoral laws ?  In the recent past in Nigeria, supreme courts has nullified and reversed some election simply because the candidates or the parties  compromised on the rules that governed the electoral process . Examples of this are elections  held in the following states  zamfara, Bayelsa , Imo , Bauch etc which has re-shaped our democratic institutions . *2023 ELECTION : GROUP DRUMS  SUPPORT FOR ASIWAJU TINUBU*     _John Adewale   19th September 2020_  Political stake holders in Nigeria and southwest  continued to drum support for Asiwaju Bolaji Ahmed tinubu candidacy in the coming 2023 presidential election . A group BAT2023  stakeholders has joined the train on 17th  September 2020 at Sehinde callisto in Oshodi-Isolo local government publicly launched its campaign and machinery  to mobilise for supports in the entire wards of the local government . The group tagged its mobilisation as " PAY BACK TIME FOR ASIWAJU AHMED TINUBU "  because he has supported many to become an house hold name in political climate in Nigeria.  Hon.Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh and other political leaders in Oshodi who graced the occassion implored everyone to key into the movement to ensure the BAT2023 movement becomes  reality in 2023. APC DEFENDS FUEL PRICE HIKE  The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has defended the new hike in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol, saying unlike what obtained under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) subsidy regime, Nigerians no longer have to endure tortuous queues to buy fuel. The party in a statement by its Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Mr Yekini Nabena, on Wednesday was reacting to attacks by the PDP on the new depot loading price of ₦151.56k approved by the Federal Government. “The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a shameless statement by the Peoples Democratic Party PDP on the current petrol price and electricity tariff in the country. “For successive PDP governments that foisted on the country a corruption-tainted fuel subsidy regime, we call on the PDP to surprise itself and indeed Nigerians by cajoling its cronies who ran the subsidy rackets — many of them in hiding abroad — to return our stol
