Blackout Blues: Oshodi-Isolo LG Communities Demand Action on Recurring Power Failures Residents of Shogunle, Ladipo, Ewu, Igbehinadun, Ogunoloko, and surrounding areas within Oshodi-Isolo Local Government are experiencing persistent power outages. These blackouts occur every two months, leaving the community in darkness for a minimum of five days, with no prior notification. The economic impact is significant, as most residents are petty traders and artisans who rely on electricity for their daily livelihoods. We urgently appeal to the local government authority, the SA on Community, the SSA on Community Engagement, the Community Development Associations (CDAs) of the affected communities, and the Oshodi CDC Chairman to intervene and find lasting solutions.
