Unity, Strategy, and Structure: Renewed Hope Ambassadors Strengthen APC Base Ahead of Elections

Oshodi-Isolo LG witnessed a strategic convergence of grassroots mobilisation and party leadership on April 10, as the Oshodi-Isolo LG Renewed Hope Ambassadors paid a high-level courtesy visit to Alhaji M.A. Taiwo, a respected Governance Advisory Council (GAC) member and apex leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his Ilasamaja residence in Lagos.

Leading the delegation, Kayode Tinubu Esq formally presented ward coordinators drawn from across Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, underscoring the group’s structured grassroots network and readiness for coordinated political engagement ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

Articulating the mission of the movement, Tinubu emphasized unity, inclusiveness, and strategic collaboration within party ranks as the cornerstone for electoral success. He reaffirmed the group’s unwavering commitment to mobilising support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, while also ensuring a sweeping victory for the APC across all levels.

Providing further insight, he briefed the GAC leader on the organisation’s activities, operational progress, and forward-looking strategies designed to consolidate voter engagement and strengthen party structures at the ward level.

Responding, Alhaji Taiwo commended Tinubu’s leadership acumen, describing it as “focused, disciplined, and purpose-driven,” while expressing confidence in the group’s capacity to deliver tangible electoral outcomes. He urged party faithful across all wards to rally behind the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, stressing that collective effort remains the lifeblood of political victory.

In a firm appeal to local government leadership—including the two LCDAs within Oshodi-Isolo LG ,he called for institutional support and alignment, noting that genuine loyalty to the party’s national leader must translate into actionable backing for grassroots initiatives. As he succinctly implied, “Leadership is proven not in words, but in the strength of the structures we build and sustain.”

The delegation also extended its engagements beyond politics, paying a solemn condolence visit to the Okota residence of Otunba Jide Oni, a prominent APC chieftain in Isolo. Prayers were offered for the repose of the departed and for divine strength for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss—reflecting the group’s commitment to empathy and community solidarity.

Earlier in the day, the atmosphere at the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ office in Alimi-Oke, Oshodi, was filled with celebration as members organised a surprise birthday reception for their coordinator, Kayode Tinubu, Esq. The event was marked by heartfelt tributes, prayers, and the presentation of a commemorative portrait, as members lauded his intellectual depth, articulate leadership, and visionary direction.

In his response, Tinubu expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, urging members to remain steadfast in purpose and committed to building a legacy-driven movement. Echoing a timeless principle, he reminded the gathering that “Great leaders do not merely seek power—they cultivate purpose, inspire people, and leave behind enduring impact.”
