The Corps Marshal of Lagos Environmental sanitation corps ( LAGESC) CP Gbemisola Akinpelu (rtd) has reiterated the state's zero tolerance for street trading and a total clampdown on alcohol sales in motor parks and garages in the state.

She re-affirm the agency's determination to sustain the current onslaught and direct the Agency's special squad to increase the enforcement drive by apprehending defaulters for arraignment daily and their sized wares be placed in the agency's storage facility. 

She explained further that the state Environmental laws provided for the onward distribution of sized perishable goods to orphanage homes daily and nonperishable be kept in storage until a court order is secured for public auction whilst generated proceeds are remitted to the state coffers 

She also highlighted the continuous need for pedestrians to use strategically erected pedestrian bridges across the major highways in the state to avoid being knocked down by overspeeding motorists and warned street traders, particularly on traffic to henceforth desist from the act or would be prosecuted when caught in the act.
