ARMY ,LASTMA imbroglio, Army commandant visit LASTMA GM

 AFTERMATCH OF FISTCUFF BETWEEN SOME ARMY MILITARY MEN AND LASTMAN OFFICERS : ARMY BRIGADE COMMAND VISITS LASTMA GENERAL MANAGER

Aftermath of fistcuff involving men of Nigeria army and officers of Lagos state traffic management authority management (LASTMA) which surface on social media leading to disappearance of LASTMA officers on Lagos roads for the past days,  the commandant of 9th Brigade Nigeria army Brigadier General Adegoke Moses Adetuyi led Army delagations to courtesy visit to the Headquarters of LASTMA in Oshodi where the General Manager of the agency Mr Bolaji Oreagba received them on 15th August, 2023.

According to a press release by Adebayo Taofiq , Director Public affairs and enlightenment department of Lastman, during their interaction on the unfortunate incident they both  re-assured maintaining harmonious relationship to strengthen partnership on traffic management in Lagos .

The Army Commandant commended Lastma of the wonderful work the agency has been doing daily on Lagos roads in traffic management and promise the support of the Nigeria army to the agency in performing their statutory duties , he said there was no division among security agencies which often gives oppourtunity to bad element within the agencies to be overzealous reason for more cordial relationship among them .


Earlier the General Manager of Lastma while appreciating their visit to his office he reiterated that there was no love lost between the two agencies and reassured the visitors that the support and love which the agency enjoyed would not be taken for granted

Other Army Officials in commandant entourage includes Major A.A Nasir (OC MP), Major A. Sanusi,Major A.A Onwemene, Major A.K Ballo and LT T.H Owoyemi while Lastma Officials include Director of Operation of Lastma Mr. Peter Gbejemede, Provost Marshal Mr. Apena Biliaminu, Head, Headquarters Operations (Rover) Mr. Adeoye James, Head of Lastma Training...Mr. Macaulay Modupe-Ore, Head of Police Unit of Lastma CSP Ajibola Abayomi and Adebayo Taofiq, Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA.

Ondo state : Gov. Aiyedatiwa campaign coordinator assassinated

BREAKING: Ondo State Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Campaign Coordinator Assassinated By Babajide Razak Dada Alaba Excel Abbey, one of the campaign coordinators of incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, has been assassinated. Mr Abbey, who served as a ward coordinator for the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot-Soldiers (LACO-SF), was killed at his home in Supare Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area. According to news on social media  the deceased was the returning officer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10 in the recently concluded primary of the governing party. A younger brother to the deceased, Mr Samuel Abbey, who confirmed the sad development, revealed that the politician was shot at the front of his house. EFCC DECLARES YAHAYA BELLO WHO IS HIDING IN KOGI GOVT HOUSE, WANTED By Dada Babajide Razak  Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, is wanted by the EFCC for offences relating to economic and financial crimes to the tune of N80.2 Billion. Anybody with information as to his whereabout should please report immediately to the Commission or the nearest Police Station.  YayaBello was currently assumed to be hiding inside the Kogi Government House under the shield of his co-thief, Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo  The antigraft agency has threaten to use military involvement to arrest him if doesn't present himself to face prosecution .
