 HON STEPHEN OGUNDIPE FREE SUMMER COACHING CLASS KICKS OFF IN OSHODI-ISOLO CONSTITUENCY 1

The much-anticipated Education support program an initiative of Lagos State Assembly Member Representing Oshodi-Isolo constituency 1 Hon.Olukayode Stephen Ogundipe ( Omoj'omolo) kicked off at three centers on 31st July 2023 namely St. Paul Primary School, Mafoluku, Owoseni Primary Sch, Temidire Primary School and Ewutuntun Community Primary School which came as an alternative to Temidire Primary School, Alhaji yekini St, shogunle which one of the coordinator of the program Otunba Ganiu Hamzat revealed that the change of venue was necessary due to circumstances which have been reported by the client in charge to the concerned authority and appeal for understanding to parents and students in the affected location.


The first week of the program witnessed a large turnout of students at the centers and subjects are structured to make understanding easy for all the students.

 Mathematics and English teachers are placed permanently at each of the centers while teachers for other subjects are rotated across the centers with the program starting by 10am -1pm for Jss 1-3 students only.

Yussuf Fatia, Alhameen Garuba, and other students expressed their joy for this wonderful and laudable program of summer coaching which keeps them focused on their books, and away from the euphoria of holidays but appeals to their colleagues to join them to benefit from the free lectures.

According to the program coordinator Otunba Ganiu Hamzat, he emphasized that the camp is strictly structured on discipline, Morals and focuses to rejuvenate Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1 education to the golden era where brilliant students are produced from our public schools with many of them turned into superstars with first class honors and doing great in their private life. 

He also reiterated that the summer class is not just about academics alone but with prize rewards for students who are exceptional in the examination that would be conducted at the end of the camp, and also students with high morals and attitudes would be appreciated by the facilitator of the summer camp Otunba Stephen Ogundipe.

His statement was confirmed at St. Paul School Center where Comdr. Taiwo Ogunbanjo on Friday, 4th August, 2023 had an interactive seminar with the teenagers to abreast them with " DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY OF A CHILD AT HOME " where morality and humility are inculcated into them to be useful for themselves, their parents and environment, he implored them to be focused on their mission at the summer coaching classes and be among the recipient of the award for best students or well-behaved students.


The Coordinators (Ajani Matthew, Adeniyi Adeosun, Otunba Ganiu Hamzat) thanked Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Otunba Kehinde Oloyede and Education Secretary of the District Mayowa Alakija for their support and approval of the summer class venues with security details.

They assured the constituent of the continuity of the summer class during holidays based on the commitment and assurance of Hon.Stephen Ogundipe on the project and promised the first edition activities would be reviewed at the end of the four weeks program to prepare ahead for the second edition.

The last time Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1 students enjoyed summer coaching class was in 2015-2019 during the tenure of Hon.Shodimu as a member House of Representatives, concerned authority in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government should put more efforts to uplift the infrastructures in some of the school used for the summer class.

Ondo state : Gov. Aiyedatiwa campaign coordinator assassinated

BREAKING: Ondo State Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Campaign Coordinator Assassinated By Babajide Razak Dada Alaba Excel Abbey, one of the campaign coordinators of incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, has been assassinated. Mr Abbey, who served as a ward coordinator for the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot-Soldiers (LACO-SF), was killed at his home in Supare Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area.
