Federal Government reverse newly appointed FERMA Chairman

PRESIDENT TINUBU REMOVED NEW FERMA CHAIRMAN 

The newly appointed chairman  board of Directors  Federal Road maintenance agency Engr.lmam Kashim Imam has been removed  , according to a press release on 19th October, 2023  by state House and signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale the nomination was stepped down with immediate effect and other appointment of the board of directors are not affected .

This followed sharp criticism relating to lack of experience of the nominee by Nigerians who claimed the appointment lack the required experience bestowed on the board for efficiency and anticipated result.

PRESIDENT TINUBU WITHDRAWS NOMINATION OF YOUNG ENGINEER KASHIM IMAM AS FERMA CHAIRMAN


President Bola Tinubu has directed the withdrawal of the nomination of Engr. Imam Kashim Imam to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).


The President's withdrawal of the above-mentioned nomination is directed with immediate effect.


All other appointments to the Board and Executive Management team of FERMA are not affected by this directive.

Ondo state : Gov. Aiyedatiwa campaign coordinator assassinated

BREAKING: Ondo State Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Campaign Coordinator Assassinated By Babajide Razak Dada Alaba Excel Abbey, one of the campaign coordinators of incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, has been assassinated. Mr Abbey, who served as a ward coordinator for the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot-Soldiers (LACO-SF), was killed at his home in Supare Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area. According to news on social media  the deceased was the returning officer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10 in the recently concluded primary of the governing party. A younger brother to the deceased, Mr Samuel Abbey, who confirmed the sad development, revealed that the politician was shot at the front of his house. EFCC DECLARES YAHAYA BELLO WHO IS HIDING IN KOGI GOVT HOUSE, WANTED By Dada Babajide Razak  Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, is wanted by the EFCC for offences relating to economic and financial crimes to the tune of N80.2 Billion. Anybody with information as to his whereabout should please report immediately to the Commission or the nearest Police Station.  YayaBello was currently assumed to be hiding inside the Kogi Government House under the shield of his co-thief, Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo  The antigraft agency has threaten to use military involvement to arrest him if doesn't present himself to face prosecution .
