Lagos state government ends 50% discount on transport fares

 BRT TRANSPORT FARE COMMENCE FULL CHARGES ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 6TH 2023

The transport fare rebate of Lagos state government would end on Sunday 5th November while normal charges would take effect from 6th November ,2023 .

According to PUBLIC NOTICE by Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority ( LAMATA) the transport fare will return to pre-August 2023 rate with effect from November 6th 2023

50% Transport Rebate Ending This Sunday

The 50% rebate in transport fare in the regulated transport system in Lagos ends on Sunday, a statement by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) has said.

The 50% fare rebate was announced by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on 2nd August 2023.

The public is hereby informed that from Monday, 6th November 2023, transport fare will return to the pre-2nd August 2023 rate.

Ondo state : Gov. Aiyedatiwa campaign coordinator assassinated

BREAKING: Ondo State Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Campaign Coordinator Assassinated By Babajide Razak Dada Alaba Excel Abbey, one of the campaign coordinators of incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, has been assassinated. Mr Abbey, who served as a ward coordinator for the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot-Soldiers (LACO-SF), was killed at his home in Supare Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area. According to news on social media  the deceased was the returning officer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10 in the recently concluded primary of the governing party. A younger brother to the deceased, Mr Samuel Abbey, who confirmed the sad development, revealed that the politician was shot at the front of his house. EFCC DECLARES YAHAYA BELLO WHO IS HIDING IN KOGI GOVT HOUSE, WANTED By Dada Babajide Razak  Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, is wanted by the EFCC for offences relating to economic and financial crimes to the tune of N80.2 Billion.
