 LASG APPROVES 25% DISCOUNT FOR REGULATED BUS AND RAIL TRANSPORT FARES

Following the recent announcement by LAMATA on suspension of 50% discount transport fare on government regulated bus and transport which ended on November 5, 2023 (over the weekend ).

Lagos state government Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved a 25% discount in transport fare for regulated bus and rail transport beginning Tuesday , 7th November 2023 as gesture over the criticism that followed the announcement of the suspension of the 50% discount which the people enjoyed since August 2nd , 2023.

According to press release by Kolawole Ojelabi  Head Corporate communication LAMATA , on the corporate X handle , he stated, following appeals to the Governor, he has extended the passenger fare reduction by 25% across the regulated bus and rail transport services until another review is announced .
