 Ten-Year Remembrance of the Late Paul Olorunfunmi Kehinde Abuede: A Tribute from the Abuede Family

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and togetherness as children, grandchildren, and family members gathered at the Ladipo compound of the late Chief Paul Olorunfunmi Kehinde Abuede to commence three days celebration in honor of his memory. 

The ten-year remembrance program commenced with a heartfelt memorial service held at the Cathedral Catholic Church in Maryland. Following the service, the family assembled at the gravesite of their beloved patriarch for a solemn prayer session led by Rev.father from St John Catholic church ,Ladipo reflecting on his life and legacy.

The first day of the event concluded with guests enjoying a vibrant fiesta accompanied by lively music. A highlight of the occasion was the attendance of former players who had represented Abuede FC, a team sponsored by the late esteemed philanthropist.

The second day of the event is scheduled to take place at Onikan Stadium on August 8, 2024, featuring a novelty match between the Abuede Legends and Nigeria Celebrities at water front Onikan Stadium by 3pm.

The grand final of the event comes up at Detutu events center at Ogudu Lagos on Saturday 10, august 2024

The first daughter of the family Mrs Helen Mosunmola Abuede Yekini, expressed gratitude to all the children and urged them to cultivate unity among themselves. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the legacy of their beloved deceased, who was renowned for his humanitarian efforts in the community and his deep love for his family.

Ondo state : Gov. Aiyedatiwa campaign coordinator assassinated

BREAKING: Ondo State Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Campaign Coordinator Assassinated By Babajide Razak Dada Alaba Excel Abbey, one of the campaign coordinators of incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, has been assassinated. Mr Abbey, who served as a ward coordinator for the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot-Soldiers (LACO-SF), was killed at his home in Supare Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area. According to news on social media  the deceased was the returning officer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10 in the recently concluded primary of the governing party. A younger brother to the deceased, Mr Samuel Abbey, who confirmed the sad development, revealed that the politician was shot at the front of his house. EFCC DECLARES YAHAYA BELLO WHO IS HIDING IN KOGI GOVT HOUSE, WANTED By Dada Babajide Razak  Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, is wanted by the EFCC for offences relating to economic and financial crimes to the tune of N80.2 Billion.
