Torino football club/ Academy partners Lagos state football camp program an initiative of SSA grassroots sports to Lagos State Governor Hon.Banji Atewogboye and State sports council.


 In a ground breaking ceremony at the office of SSA grassroots sports Hon.Banji Atewogboye at Teslim Balogun stadium on 26th October , representatives of the academy were delighted to the partnership through Act Sports to assist the initiative with technical support to sports development in the state with presence of football expertise to instill the coaches with techniques and enhance great performance of the selected players to nurture them to football stars and bring laurels to the nation 

According to the press release by the Media office to SSA on Grassroots sports the arrival of Torino FC Academy marks a significant milestone in the efforts of Lagos state to develop grassroots football in Lagos state .


The visitors look forward to partner Lagos state in other sports to encourage and nurture talents which are abundant in the community of Lagos state and Nigeria .

Immediately after the press conference the visitors proceeded to Gbajabiala Mini Stadium in Aguda where they have session with the team and coaches in the three days program.

The groundbreaking of Unveiling Torino Football Club/Academy Lagos today, which aimed to promote youth development in sports, has added a colorful futures for the young footballers who merited the requisite of the Sanwo-Olu's Boys formation through the recent Lagos State Football Camp program in the state.

The partnership revealed the Lagos State's commitment to harnessing the potential of Lagos youth and creating pathways to professional football careers.

According to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Sports Development, Mr. Adebanji Atewogboye SKIBANJ, the arrival of Torino FC Academy marks a significant milestone in the efforts of Lagos State to develop grassroots football in Lagos" adding that "the efforts would provide world-class training, and scout talented young players for international trials"

Also expressing his enthusiastic gestures to the partnership, Torino FC Academy Coaches Representative, Manganozzi Gabriele was thrilled to bring expertise and passion for football development to Lagos and Nigeria.

His words, "We are thrilled to partner with Act Sports and the Lagos State Government through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant To The Governor On Grassroots Sports Development to bring our expertise and passion for football development in Nigeria"

Gabrielle promised to identify and nurture talented young players, providing them with a platform to succeed globally.

Ondo state : Gov. Aiyedatiwa campaign coordinator assassinated

BREAKING: Ondo State Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Campaign Coordinator Assassinated By Babajide Razak Dada Alaba Excel Abbey, one of the campaign coordinators of incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, has been assassinated. Mr Abbey, who served as a ward coordinator for the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot-Soldiers (LACO-SF), was killed at his home in Supare Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area. According to news on social media  the deceased was the returning officer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10 in the recently concluded primary of the governing party. A younger brother to the deceased, Mr Samuel Abbey, who confirmed the sad development, revealed that the politician was shot at the front of his house. EFCC DECLARES YAHAYA BELLO WHO IS HIDING IN KOGI GOVT HOUSE, WANTED By Dada Babajide Razak  Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, is wanted by the EFCC for offences relating to economic and financial crimes to the tune of N80.2 Billion.
