Sporty Lagos 2.0 Loading: Rajalin and Shanashow Set to Perform Live

As excitement builds for the Lagos sports fiesta, Sporty Lagos 2.0, Ikeja-born artists Rajalin and Shanashow have joined the lineup to enhance the event's appeal. The event will take place at the Rowe Park Sports Complex in Yaba on December 21, 2024.

The announcement was made by Mr. Adebanji Atewogboye, Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Grassroots Sports Development, during a press conference held in his office. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for the artists' willingness to contribute their talents to this important initiative.

“I am grateful for the support of talented artists like Rajalin and Shanashow, who are willing to lend their talents to promote a great cause. Their contributions will surely make Sporty Lagos 2.0 an unforgettable experience for all participants and spectators,” Mr. Atewogboye stated.

He further emphasized that Sporty Lagos 2.0 is a shining example of the administration's commitment to grassroots development, bringing together athletes from all walks of life and fostering a sense of community, healthy competition, and camaraderie.

Registration for the event, which is free, is currently ongoing. Organizers promise an improved experience over previous editions, featuring plenty of entertainment and exciting giveaways for everyone.

Ondo state : Gov. Aiyedatiwa campaign coordinator assassinated

BREAKING: Ondo State Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Campaign Coordinator Assassinated By Babajide Razak Dada Alaba Excel Abbey, one of the campaign coordinators of incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, has been assassinated. Mr Abbey, who served as a ward coordinator for the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot-Soldiers (LACO-SF), was killed at his home in Supare Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area. According to news on social media  the deceased was the returning officer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10 in the recently concluded primary of the governing party. A younger brother to the deceased, Mr Samuel Abbey, who confirmed the sad development, revealed that the politician was shot at the front of his house. EFCC DECLARES YAHAYA BELLO WHO IS HIDING IN KOGI GOVT HOUSE, WANTED By Dada Babajide Razak  Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, is wanted by the EFCC for offences relating to economic and financial crimes to the tune of N80.2 Billion. Anybody with information as to his whereabout should please report immediately to the Commission or the nearest Police Station.  YayaBello was currently assumed to be hiding inside the Kogi Government House under the shield of his co-thief, Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo  The antigraft agency has threaten to use military involvement to arrest him if doesn't present himself to face prosecution .
