 Otunba Oluwaseyi Abiodun Odufowokan Obtains Nomination Form for Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairmanship Election.

Jubilation filled the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat on Acme Road yesterday as Otunba Oluwaseyi Abiodun Odufowokan obtained his nomination form to contest the forthcoming local government election slated for July 12th, 2025. He was accompanied by a large crowd of supporters, including the ROT Ladies President, Comrade Rukayat Olashile Ahmed; Mandate Youth Leader, Comrade Adewale Adebayo; Hon. Olawale Michael; and Comrade Oladimeji Ishau. Hon. Odunayo Agunsoye was also on ground to offer his support and prayers. Among the many others celebrating were Mrs. Titilayo Ayodele and Mrs. Yinka Arasi.



This follows Otunba Odufowokan's earlier declaration, where he pledged to prioritize the welfare of the people, focusing on infrastructural development, improved healthcare, youth empowerment, and enhanced security of lives and property.

In an effort to maintain the dignity of individuals and protect the sanctity of revered traditional institutions, the Ogun State Government, led by Prince Dapo Abiodun, has suspended Oba Abdul Semiu Adewale Ogunjobi, the Olorile of Orile-Ifo, for six months due to his unbecoming conduct uncharacteristic of an Oba.
