Grassroots Revival: Oshodi-Isolo Mandate Movement ( TMM) Mobilizes for APC Growth, Unity, and support for Otunba kehinde Oloyede Administration

The Mandate Movement in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government has renewed its pledge of unwavering support to the Administration of Otunba Kehinde Oloyede, vowing to strengthen internal unity and intensify voters mobilization efforts across all wards ahead of future political engagements.

The group’s general meeting, held on October 3, 2025, at Fagbola Street in Shogunle, drew a large crowd of party loyalists, ward executives, and community stakeholders under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The gathering opened on a reflective note with a minute of silence for the late Hon. Wale Adelana, a respected pillar of the Mandate Movement. Members collectively offered prayers for his eternal rest and for divine comfort for his family.

Addressing the audience, Comrade Dele Ogunshakin the Oshodi APC Apex leader and Mandate chairman, charged members to remain united and dedicated to the collective growth of the party. He commended the administration of Otunba Kehinde Oloyede for its developmental strides and urged members to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration drive, describing it as a strategic tool to reinforce APC’s political dominance at the grassroots.

Representatives of the Local Government chairman — the APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, and Chief of Staff, Hon. Leke Banjoko — delivered Otunba Oloyede’s goodwill message. They conveyed his apologies for being unavoidably absent due to official engagements in the state and reiterated his readiness to deepen collaboration with the Mandate Movement in the spirit of inclusiveness and continuity

In his message, Otunba Oloyede reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to all-round development and pledged to deliver more people-oriented projects in his second term. He appealed to all party members to put aside political differences and rally together toward a successful party congress and the re-election efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that unity remains the party’s strongest asset.

Prominent political figures at the meeting included Hon. Banji Atewogboye, Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Grassroots Sports Development; Hon. Isreal Akiode and Comrade Dele Ogundipe, who all praised the leadership of the Ogunshakin (TTM) Mandate Movement for sustaining political cohesion in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government . They urged members to maintain loyalty, discipline, and teamwork in advancing the party’s progress.

Other attendees included Hon. Oladipupo Abiola, Hon. Dele Tomori, ward chairmen of the Mandate Movement, and numerous other APC stalwarts who collectively reaffirmed their dedication to the vision of unity and service in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government.
