  High Court Dismisses Injunction Against Osolo of Isolo Oba Shekoni, Sets Hearing for November 28 A High Court sitting in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, has dismissed an injunction seeking to halt the installation of Oba Issa Abiodun Olakunle Faronbi-Shekoni as the new Osolo of Isolo. Presiding Judge, Justice Ezekiel Oluwole Ashade, gave the ruling on Monday, 3rd November 2025, describing the application filed by Prince Jimmy Adetokunbo Goloba as lacking sufficient grounds to warrant the restraining order sought. Prince Goloba had approached the court to stop Oba Shekoni’s installation, urging that the monarch be restrained from parading himself as the Osolo and be removed from the throne entirely. In a counter-motion, Oba Shekoni through his counsel, challenged the competence of the suit, maintaining that the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the matter.
