The grand finale was a pulsating spectacle of grit, flair, and raw street football energy as Young Shall Grow and GTONIA Transport locked horns in a clash worthy of the occasion. The atmosphere crackled with anticipation, and the fans were rewarded with a classic.


Young Shall Grow, resplendent in green jerseys, exploded into the match with breathtaking intensity. Within the opening minutes, Marcello stunned the arena with a blistering hat-trick inside the first five minutes of the 20-minute first half, racing his side into a commanding 3–0 lead. GTONIA Transport, clad in red, pulled one back in the 18th minute to end the first half trailing 3–1, leaving many to believe the title was slipping away.

But champions are forged in moments of adversity.



The second half witnessed a complete transformation. GTONIA Transport returned with renewed belief, tactical discipline, and unrelenting hunger. The under-bridge arena erupted as Dennis, Salami, and Salvage led a ferocious comeback, scoring four decisive goals in the dying minutes of the encounter. The dramatic turnaround flipped the contest on its head, sealing a sensational 5–3 victory and igniting wild celebrations among players and fans alike as GTONIA Transport were crowned champions.




Earlier in the day, the third-place playoff delivered its own fireworks. Empire All Stars, in white jerseys, capitalised ruthlessly on defensive lapses by Jibowu All Stars, running out emphatic 9–4 winners in a high-scoring thriller.

The road to the final had already set the tone for a memorable tournament. GTONIA Transport dispatched Empire All Stars 3–0 in the semi-finals, while Young Shall Grow stormed past Jibowu All Stars with a commanding 9–3 victory, booking a deserved place in the championship match.


The Bet9ja Foundation Super 4 Jibowu Transport Football Tournament 2025 proved to be a physically demanding, energy-sapping five-aside spectacle — a festival of entertainment, skill, and artistry that kept fans on their feet throughout. From dazzling dribbles to thunderous finishes, the tournament showcased the very best of Lagos grassroots football.

While presenting the golden trophy, medals, and prizes to the outstanding teams, Chief Okeke Azubike, Bet9ja SA Ikeja and facilitator of the tournament, applauded the exemplary sportsmanship and peaceful conduct of the teams and supporters.
