The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, have sustained their grassroots engagement and sensitisation drive with key leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), during a strategic visit to the immediate past council chairman and member of the South-West Development Commission, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, at his residence on Sehinde Callisto Crescent, Oshodi on 22nd April , 2026.

Welcoming the delegation, Hon. Ariyoh commended the leadership of the group under Kayode Tinubu Esq., describing their effort as timely and impactful.

“Your resilience, focus, and commitment to progressive ideals are commendable. You have come at a critical time when engagement with the people is paramount,” he said, receiving the team on behalf of the IBMA political family.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the coordinator, Kayode Tinubu Esq., paid glowing tribute to Hon. Ariyoh, whom he described as “a thoroughbred progressive in the mould of Asiwaju.”

“Your leadership style and grassroots connection remain a reference point in Oshodi-Isolo LG politics,” Tinubu noted.

He reiterated that the mandate of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors is to sensitise the public, correct misconceptions, and highlight the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and would incorporate the party flagbearer whenever they emerged .

“Our focus is clear—to deepen civic engagement, unite stakeholders, and mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and victory for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections, and incorporate our party flagbearers when they emerged ” he stated.

Tinubu further briefed the former council chairman on the structures and strategies already deployed by the group to achieve its objectives, while formally introducing members of the directorate and ward coordinators.

In his response, Hon. Ariyoh expressed strong confidence in the capacity of the group, describing it as “a round peg in a round hole.”

“This is a team with depth, experience, and a clear sense of purpose. I have no doubt in your ability to deliver,” he affirmed.

He pledged his full support for the group’s activities and underscored the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that his administration has demonstrated decisive leadership and economic direction over the past three years.

“The President’s track record speaks for itself. His leadership has laid a solid foundation for the Nigeria we all aspire to,” Ariyoh added.

He urged members of the group and stakeholders across the local government to remain committed to the progressive cause.

“Sustaining this momentum requires collective effort. I encourage everyone to remain steadfast in ensuring continuity and greater progress,” he said.

In a significant political development, Hon. Ariyoh also used the occasion to formally intimate the delegation of his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat to represent Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency I in the forthcoming general elections.

As a mark of honour and respect , the group presented a token gift to Honorable Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh ( IBMA) and pray for success in his political endeavour
