The event  kicked off in an atmosphere of praise and worship on 26th December,2020 at Oladele Street, Ire Akari Estate, Isolo. The  highly spiritual opening prayer was led by  former Senior Girl of the school Dr. Legbeti Agnes, (nee Aiyejuro). *EDO ELECTION RESULT SHOULD UNDERGO THE TEST OF ELECTORAL LAW*  23rd Sept.2020  _Adewale Ajibola reports_  In any sporting activities or competition  participants are subjected to rules and regulations which gives each and everyone a satisfied mind after each tournament when champions have emerged.  In reference to the above in Edo state election there is no doubt that the election has been concluded and Governor Obaseki of pdp has been declared as the winner having won majority of the votes but did the candidates and parties in the election played to Nigeria  electoral laws ?  In the recent past in Nigeria, supreme courts has nullified and reversed some election simply because the candidates or the parties  compromised on the rules that governed the electoral process . Examples of this are elections  held in the following states  zamfara, Bayelsa , Imo , Bauch etc which has re-shaped our democratic institutions . APC DEFENDS FUEL PRICE HIKE  The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has defended the new hike in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol, saying unlike what obtained under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) subsidy regime, Nigerians no longer have to endure tortuous queues to buy fuel. COACH DANLANDI IS DEAD  Niger Tornadoes have announced the death of their former coach who was the Assistant Coach of the Super Falcons at USA 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Danladi Abubakar Nasidi . In a press release by the club to announced the death of the veteran coach  “The death has occurred of Veteran Coach Danladi Abubakar Nasidi (Alala) he died in the early hours of Wednesday 12th August 2020 after a brief illness.” The release read  Coach Danladi Nasidi (CAF A Licence Holder) was Assistant Coach of Super Falcons of Nigeria to Women World Cup USA ’99. He was Coach Stationery Stores of Lagos and rescued the Team from Relegation in 1994. He was the head coach of Gabon National Team in 1986, he managed Niger Tornadoes on several occasions.
