By Dada Babajide Razak  PRESIDENT TINUBU REMOVED NEW FERMA CHAIRMAN  The newly appointed chairman  board of Directors  Federal Road maintenance agency Engr.lmam Kashim Imam has been removed  , according to a press release on 19th October, 2023  by state House and signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale the nomination was stepped down with immediate effect and other appointment of the board of directors are not affected . This followed sharp criticism relating to lack of experience of the nominee by Nigerians who claimed the appointment lack the required experience bestowed on the board for efficiency and anticipated result.   SACKED SENATOR ACCUSED SENATE PRESIDENT OF INTERFERENCE WITH COURT JUDGEMENT THAT UNSEAT HIM  Elisha Abbo, sacked Adamawa North senator, has said Senate President Godswill Akpabio is behind the appeal court ruling which removed him from the office. Abbo said four other senators who worked against the emergence of Akpabio as Senate President had been targeted for removal from the Red Chamber through the court. In an interview with reporters on Monday in Abuja, Abbo specifically mentioned Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (APC Abia North) as the next target for removal from the Senate. “I have it from a reliable source that myself and four other senators within the fold of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will be removed from the Senate through rulings from the courts, all because of working against the emergence of Akpabio as President of the 10th Senate. “I won’t mention the names of all the four other ones targeted but the next in line is Senator Orji Uzor Kalu,” he said. NATIONAL BROADCASTING COMMISSION ISSUES FINAL WARNING TO ARISE TV MANAGEMENT  By Dada Babajide Razak  National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has issued a final warning to Arise Television over the use of derogatory and incendiary remarks on its station. This Nigeria news platform understands that the warning was contained in a letter by NBC’s Director General, Dr Balarabe Shehu Ilelah, on October 6, 2023. The warning letter urged the TV station to have a delay mechanism to guard against undesirable contents. The letter, which was addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Arise Global Media Limited, also urged the TV station to keep to its responsibility of keeping its guest on check. Sixty-three years after, the nation has continued to wobble and crawl like infants with abundant resources at her disposal coupled with bad leadership, mismanagement, and quest for political powers and corruption. The reality of Nigeria's economy today was like a nation in the wilderness brought upon her through self-inflicted injuries. In the fifties, Nigeria stood tall, shoulders high with developing nations of the world, then came the military who lacked the mentality of civil governance, supported by civilians who never believed the world is just a transient place and six feet would end every journey.
