The ongoing Lagos Grassroots Summer Football Camp is proving to be more than just a platform for sharpening football skills—it is also instilling discipline, moral values, and the right attitude needed to build a lasting career in the game.


On Day Five of the camp, held at the Digital Bridge Institute, Nitel Pitch, Cappa, participants were grouped and taken through inspiring pep talks on technical skills, career growth, and character development.


The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as the young talents eagerly absorbed guidance from the technical crew. Every participant was applauded and encouraged, while the coaches continued the careful process of pruning, grooming, and fishing out exceptional prospects who may soon light up the football stage.

In an effort to maintain the dignity of individuals and protect the sanctity of revered traditional institutions, the Ogun State Government, led by Prince Dapo Abiodun, has suspended Oba Abdul Semiu Adewale Ogunjobi, the Olorile of Orile-Ifo, for six months due to his unbecoming conduct uncharacteristic of an Oba.
