Hon.Ogundipe Deepens Grassroots Connection with Omojomolo Cares Initiative
OMOJO MOLO CARES: OGUNDIPE STEPHEN OLU KAYODE EMPOWERS CONSTITUENTS IN OSHODI-ISOLO
APC leaders hail constituency-wide food and cash support as Renewed Hope Agenda takes root at the grassroots.
Owoseni Primary School came alive with intense activity as the venue for Omojomolo Cares, a community empowerment initiative facilitated by the Member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, Hon. Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode, who reached out to constituents with 5kg food items and financial support during the yuletide season.
Speaking at the event, the APC Lagos State Vice Chairman, Hon. Moshood Mayegun, commended Hon. Ogundipe for his consistent demonstration of love for his constituents and commitment to party ideals. He described the initiative as a practical expression of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which emphasizes grassroots engagement and direct impact by elected representatives and party stakeholders.
Hon. Mayegun also praised the Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede, for his recent empowerment and welfare programmes, noting his sustained drive toward inclusive development within the local government area.
Earlier in his address, the APC Chairman, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, urged party members to actively participate in the forthcoming APC e-registration exercise, advising them to ensure their National Identification Number (NIN) is readily available. He appreciated Hon. Ogundipe for his continuous show of compassion, especially during the festive season, and applauded the synergy among elected officials representing the constituency at the local, state, and federal levels.
Addressing party members and beneficiaries, Hon. Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode expressed gratitude for their unwavering support and urged them to remain committed to the unity and progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Lagos State Government.
He disclosed that the 5kg food items were distributed evenly—100 packs per ward—across the seven wards in the constituency, alongside monetary support. He emphasized that distribution was transparently supervised by ward chairmen to ensure fairness and inclusiveness.
Speaking to journalists, Hon. Ogundipe reaffirmed his dedication to people-centred service through impactful programmes aligned with the promises made during his campaign.
“Our party members remain steadfast and loyal. We listen to their concerns, and in line with the President’s directive, our programmes are now more grassroots-driven, inclusive, and directly supervised,” he stated.
He further noted that voter apathy in past elections stemmed largely from feelings of neglect after campaign periods—an issue he said the party has decisively addressed through deliberate inclusion and collaboration among elected officials at all tiers of government. Expressing optimism, he projected increased voter turnout in future elections and encouraged party faithful to complete their registration and ensure eligible voters obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
Hon. Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode has continued to touch lives across Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I through purposeful interventions. Recently, he facilitated a medical and cancer awareness programme involving over 35 medical professionals, including surgeons from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), supported with modern medical equipment.
