Sisters United International Club Holds Annual Get-Together, Sets Strategic Agenda for 2026

The day’s activities commenced with a session of worship and praise, as members expressed gratitude to God for His mercy, protection, and faithfulness over the club and its members. This was followed by prayers for continued favour, growth, and prosperity for members both at home and in the diaspora.
In her welcome address, the Vice President of the club, Mrs Tunrayo Kadiri, urged members to remain steadfast and committed to the aims and objectives of the club. She also announced that the club would be opening its membership to deserving women who meet the required standards and values of the association.
Goodwill messages were conveyed from members in the diaspora — Mrs. Kimberly Alatishe (President) and Mrs.Stella Odeyemi (Public Relations Officer, Canada). Additionally, the General Secretary of the club, Mrs Omotunde Romiluyi, delivered an insightful presentation on the new tax law, educating members—many of whom are business moguls—on its implications and benefits.
A brief moment of celebration was also observed in honour of Mrs. Esther Towoshe whose birthday coincided with the meeting day.The club later proceeded into a closed session where strategic plans, schedules, and other key matters for the year were extensively discussed.
In her vote of thanks, the Founder and Treasurer of the club, Mrs.Olushola Babasanya, expressed heartfelt appreciation to members for their unwavering commitment to the tenets of the club despite prevailing economic challenges. She encouraged members to remain resilient and prepared for more impactful activities in the year ahead. Mrs Monsurat Toyin Jimoh was absent due to urgent circumstances.
The event concluded on a joyful note with the exchange of gifts, a feast, and a group photoshoot.
