  Registration Opens as Lagos State League Targets April 11 Kick-off By Babajide Razak  The build-up to another exciting campaign of grassroots football has begun as the Lagos State Football Association State League Management Committee released the official timetable for the 2025/2026 State League season. The decision was reached at the committee’s meeting held on Saturday, with the schedule outlining key dates leading to the commencement of the new football calendar. According to the timeline, registration for participating clubs will run from March 9 to March 23, 2026, after which the draw ceremony and media briefing will take place on April 2, 2026. The league is expected to officially kick off on April 11, 2026. A total of 20 clubs will battle for honours in the men’s competition.
