POLICE ARREST TWO " ONE CHANCE ROBBER " UN LEKKI LAGOS STATE

*"ONE CHANCE": POLICE ARREST 2 IN LEKKI, RECOVER STOLEN CAR* *As Victim Identifies Suspect* The operatives of the Lagos State Police Command attached to Ilasan Division on 3rd August, 2021, at about 9.30am arrested two (2) suspected armed robbers, Samson Tella, m, 37 and Raphael John, m,  21, who specialize in One Chance robbery and have been terrorising Lekki/Ajah axis of Lagos State. According to statement signed by the police pubic relations officer Lagos state Cps Olumuyiwa Adejobi ( Mnipr) signed on 5th august 2021 circulated on social media  The suspected armed robbers on 2nd August, 2021, at 9.30pm attacked the owner of a Toyota Corrolla car Reg No. JJJ 242 FW, at Ikate Area of Lagos, took over the steering, drove him to ATM at Ikate and withdrew the sum of twenty thousand naira only (#20,000) from the account of the victim. LAWMA GETS COMPACTOR TRUCKS

Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu today commissioned 102 brand new Locally assembled compactor trucks and 100 Double Dino Bins for the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) at the Sports Ground, Lagos House, Ikeja.  The 102-brand new waste collection vehicles comprising 30(nos) of 12 Cubic meter Compactor Trucks, 60(nos) of 24 cubic meter compactor trucks and 12(nos) Hook Loaders, and 100 double dino bins. All the trucks are locally assembled in Lagos, Nigeria here and drivers and their assistants have been trained to troubleshoot and fix simple issues that might arise as they move around the State. Each vehicle also has trackers for effective monitoring.  The  average compactor truck can carry 10 tons of waste (most usually carry less), this implies that we need to make more than 1,300 compactor trips daily to provide an effective waste collection service.  This commissioning is encapsulated in the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu Administ

*EDO ELECTION RESULT SHOULD UNDERGO THE TEST OF ELECTORAL LAW*  23rd Sept.2020  _Adewale Ajibola reports_  In any sporting activities or competition  participants are subjected to rules and regulations which gives each and everyone a satisfied mind after each tournament when champions have emerged.  In reference to the above in Edo state election there is no doubt that the election has been concluded and Governor Obaseki of pdp has been declared as the winner having won majority of the votes but did the candidates and parties in the election played to Nigeria  electoral laws ?  In the recent past in Nigeria, supreme courts has nullified and reversed some election simply because the candidates or the parties  compromised on the rules that governed the electoral process . Examples of this are elections  held in the following states  zamfara, Bayelsa , Imo , Bauch etc which has re-shaped our democratic institutions . Edo state  election should be tested under the electoral act
