The club, founded five months ago with its parent team in São Paulo, Brazil, is focused on nurturing players aged 15–17 and preparing them for exchange programmes with Brazilian clubs. Speaking at the unveiling, Brazil’s Consul-General to Nigeria, Manuel Dos Santos, praised the initiative as a reflection of the strong cultural and sporting bond between both nations, expressing hopes that the youngsters could rise to the level of stars like Neymar and Vinícius Júnior.
