  Blackout Blues: Oshodi-Isolo LG Communities Demand Action on Recurring Power Failures Residents of Shogunle, Ladipo, Ewu, Igbehinadun, Ogunoloko, and surrounding areas within Oshodi-Isolo Local Government are experiencing persistent power outages. These blackouts occur every two months, leaving the community in darkness for a minimum of five days, with no prior notification.  The economic impact is significant, as most residents are petty traders and artisans who rely on electricity for their daily livelihoods. We urgently appeal to the local government authority, the SA on Community, the SSA on Community Engagement, the Community Development Associations (CDAs) of the affected communities, and the Oshodi CDC Chairman to intervene and find lasting solutions.  The community deserves clear information regarding these regular blackouts and a plan to end them rather than being left in uncertainty.  Otunba Oluwaseyi Abiodun Odufowokan Obtains Nomination Form for Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairmanship Election. By Dada Babajide Razak  Jubilation filled the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat on Acme Road yesterday as Otunba Oluwaseyi Abiodun Odufowokan obtained his nomination form to contest the forthcoming local government election slated for July 12th, 2025. He was accompanied by a large crowd of supporters, including the ROT Ladies President, Comrade Rukayat Olashile Ahmed; Mandate Youth Leader, Comrade Adewale Adebayo; Hon. Olawale Michael; and Comrade Oladimeji Ishau. Hon. Odunayo Agunsoye was also on ground to offer his support and prayers. Among the many others celebrating were Mrs. Titilayo Ayodele and Mrs. Yinka Arasi.
