NRC and LAMATA Team Up to Boost Nigeria's Rail Network By Dada Babajide Razak   The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) and Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) are joining forces to strengthen Nigeria's rail system. The two agencies met on 5th March to discuss ways to work together more effectively, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope 8-Point Agenda. In an effort to maintain the dignity of individuals and protect the sanctity of revered traditional institutions, the Ogun State Government, led by Prince Dapo Abiodun, has suspended Oba Abdul Semiu Adewale Ogunjobi, the Olorile of Orile-Ifo, for six months due to his unbecoming conduct uncharacteristic of an Oba.   Lagos State House of Assembly names new principal officers  *Former speaker and two legislators absent  The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Lasbat Mojisola, has announced new principal officers following the dissolution of the former committee.  The new appointments were :  Hon.Temitope Adedeji (Ifako Ijaiye 1) as Majority Leader,  Hon. Richard Kasumu (Ikeja 2) as Deputy Majority Leader,  Hon. Sanni Babatunde (Kosofe 1) as Deputy Chief Whip,  Hon. Sentoji David (Badagry 2) as Chief Whip.
